Utility Assistance Request Process

Blessings at the Cross provides utility assistance primarily to seniors (60+) that reside in the five county metropolitan Atlanta area. The following requirements must be met in order to be considered for assistance.

Review Process

Once the Utility Assistance Request Form is submitted, the request will be reviewed by a staff member. If we are able to assist, you will be notified of an appointment date and time. The items listed below must be brought to the appointment in order to finalize consideration.

1. Valid proof of income for the last 30 days.

2. Utility disconnect notice.

3. Social Security card.

4. Driver's License or State issued ID

Restrictions

  • Failure to bring the required items will delay your request.
  • Assistance approval is not guaranteed & subject to funds availability.
  • We offer assistance for water, gas and electric services.
  • Funds provided can not be used for deposits, reconnection fees, or bad debts with utility providers.
  • Assistance can only be applied for once in a six month period.
